Assignment 1

1.  Create an acrostic poem using your first name. So what you are going to do is use each letter in your name to create an adjective that describes you or use each letter to write something you like to do.

2. What technologies do you use in your everyday life? Describe how and why you use the technologies you do.
Technologies that I use in my everyday life are my cellphone, television and computer. I use my cellphone to contact my family, friends, to wake myself up in the morning, keep track of time and to listen to music. I use the television to keep up with my tv shows, see what is going on outside of my city, and to basically watch news. I use my computer to do my school work for example essays, print assignments from Black Board, check my grades, and to download music.

 8. Research how computers play a crucial part in nearly every government agency. Pick an agency and discuss how that agency uses computers and why computers make their jobs easier. Some examples of government agencies that use technology frequently are the U.S. Census Bureau, IRS, Military, and Police.
The FBI uses their computers in many ways for example so they can get connected with their satellites and to also use surveillance with cameras in which are connected to their computers. Lastly, they also use their computers to save important files such as criminal information, history with any crimes, people, arrests, and many more things.
